Gloucester County Public Schools will hold open house events next week at all eight of the county’s schools. Meanwhile, Mathews County Public Schools will hold their open houses at all three schools from 3-7 p.m. next Wednesday, Aug. 28.

The events will give students and parents an opportunity to meet teachers, learn about special supplies needed for classes, and to obtain class schedules.

Gloucester High School will hold orientation sessions for freshmen and their parents on Tuesday. The check-in time is from 1:30 to 2 p.m. with the sessions offered from 2 to 5 p.m. The freshman open house is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m.

The GHS open house for sophomores, juniors and seniors is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. 

At Page and Peasley middle schools, the open house for seventh and eighth graders is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and the open house for sixth graders is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.
