The Alzheimer’s Association’s Middle Peninsula Area Caregiver Online Support Group meets at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28 and the fourth Wednesday of every month.
The support group serves Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex, Essex, King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, Westmoreland and New Kent counties.
“We know that during this unprecedented time, no one should face Alzheimer’s or other dementia alone. Online support groups provide a place for friends and family to share valuable information, caregiving tips, and concerns throughout the Alzheimer’s journey,” a release stated.
The meetings are facilitated by trained individuals who can help guide the discussions. Call 800-272-3900 to register and receive login instructions.
