Online real estate inquiry tool now available

The Gloucester County Treasurer’s Office has launched an online tool for the public to access real estate tax information without having to contact the office, Treasurer Tara Thomas announced.

According to Thomas, online access was taken down a few years back because of the transition to new tax and receipting software. This has meant that anyone needing tax information for a parcel, including title checkers, attorneys and mortgage companies—or anyone just wanting to research the publicly-available information on a parcel—had to call or email the office for the information.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer online access to real estate tax information again,” Thomas said. “It has been problematic in a number of ways, such as limiting access for those needing to verify tax information for a real estate closing.
