An online auction to benefit the Mathews Historical Museum begins Friday and ends Monday. Items for sale may be viewed at the Facebook group CDR Estate Sales and Auctions.

In addition, the museum, located at 200 Main Street, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to celebrate Halloween. Treats for children in costumes will be available. Winners in a costume contest will be announced at 1:45 p.m. Also, hot dogs and chili will be available to purchase, and the museum’s reselling shop will be open.
