Sara Jane Troxel of the Gloucester Virginia Democrats held a candlelight vigil last Thursday night to remember the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last year on Jan. 6. Those in attendance expressed feelings of grief, anger and despair they felt over the insurrection on the day it happened as well as one year later. “It was heartbreaking,” Troxel said to the handful of people in attendance.
