All post offices, courts, county offices, schools, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Gloucester Library at Main Street Center will be closed Monday, as well, while the library at Gloucester Point will be closed both Saturday and Monday. Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

All waste facilities in Gloucester will be closed on Monday, while the transfer station in Mathews will be open regular hours.

ABC stores in both counties will close an hour early.
