All post offices, courts, county offices, libraries and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday, Oct. 10, in observance of Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Gloucester schools will be open, but Mathews schools will be closed for students, with a teacher workday scheduled.
Waste facilities and ABC stores in both counties will be open.
