All post offices, courts, county offices, libraries, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Mathews County schools will be closed for students but will have a teacher work day, while Gloucester County schools will be open.
All ABC stores and waste facilities in both counties will be open.
