All post offices, courts, county offices, school board offices, and DMV Customer Service Centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday, June 19, in celebration of the Juneteenth holiday.
Gloucester libraries will be closed both Sunday and Monday, June 18 and 19, while Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Monday only. Mathews County Public Schools will be closed Monday; the school board is expected to approve the closure retroactively on Tuesday. ABC stores and waste facilities in both counties will be open.
