All courts, county offices, post offices, and DMV customer service centers in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Schools in both counties will also be closed, as will the EZPass office.

Gloucester libraries will be closed Sunday and Monday, and Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

The Gloucester landfill will open late, at 8 a.m., and both the landfill and convenience centers will close early, at 2 p.m. The Mathews Waste Transfer Station will be open regular hours.
