Gloucester Volunteer Fire Department’s Junior EMS and Fire Cadets will host a blood drive from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, at Station 1 on Main Street in Gloucester.

The blood drive is held annually to honor former junior member Sean McNulty Jr., who was killed in an automobile accident in 2006.

Donations will be by appointment. To schedule an appointment, visit redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code GVFRS or call 800-733-2767. All donors will receive a $5 e-gift card by email, said GVFRS Fire Prevention Officer Tony Villani.
