After nearly 20 years as Regional Affiliate Director of three area community foundations—the Mathews Community Foundation, the Gloucester Community Foundation and the River Counties Community Foundation (covering Middlesex, Lancaster and Northumberland counties)—Margaret Nost retired from that position at the end of January.Under Nost’s leadership, the Gloucester, Mathews and River Counties Community Foundations now steward over 240 donor-established funds with assets totaling $56 million.

In Mathews alone, her work led to the creation of more than 80 donor advised and scholarship funds, as well as more than 30 bequest funds.

Succeeding Nost is Lincoln Boykin as Director of Affiliate Foundations. He was previously Regional Affiliate Officer. He joined the team in February 2020 and has overseen community grant-making and outreach to nonprofit and community partners in the five counties that fall under the Gloucester, River Counties, and Mathews community foundations.
