Northern Neck Orchestra to present ‘Music for Horn, Violin and Piano’ on Nov. 13

The Northern Neck Orchestra will present “Music for Horn, Violin and Piano,” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 at Grace Episcopal Church, 303 S. Main Street, Kilmarnock.

The program features Leoš Janáček’s piano series “On an Overgrown Path (Part 1)” and Johannes Brahms’ “Horn Trio in E-flat major.”

Tickets for the performance are $30 and may be purchased at the check-in desk or online at www.northernneckorchestra.org.

The second of four concerts in the Northern Neck Orchestra’s 2022-2023 Chamber Music Series will feature Dasha Bukhartseva, piano, Moises Cunha, violin, and Lauren Hunt, horn. Bukhartseva will perform Janáček’s series of piano solos. She will join Cunha and Hunt for the performance of Brahms’ Horn Trio.

Cunha is the Artistic Director of the Northern Neck Orchestra Chamber Music Series and the Concertmaster and Principal Violinist of the Northern Neck Orchestra.
