Nora Christine Correll Wayne, age 85, of Gloucester, Va., passed at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Wayne, and daughter, Ercena Bivens Shannon. Survived by her daughter, Vanessa Massengill (Jerry); granddaughters, Elizabeth Fairbanks (Chris), April McCoy, Donna Bivens; grandson, Aaron Park; great-grandchildren, Erin Park, Allison Fairbanks, Haley Fairbanks, Cheyenne McCoy, Christopher McCoy, Makayla Hawkins; sisters, Irene Brumback, Faye Ruf (Ernie), Anita Eppard (Mike), numerous nieces and nephews. Nora loved nature, gardening and traveling with her longtime companion, George White. Survived by her stepchildren, Patricia Walker, Donna Dutton, Sandy Booker, Cindy White, Wendell White and their families, with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends who loved her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
