Nominations are still being accepted for the 2025 Guinea Jubilee’s grand marshal. This year’s festival will be held Sept. 26-27 at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena.
The nominating process closes July 15 and names submitted on or before that date will be in the pool from which the 2025 Guinea Jubilee grand marshal will be chosen.
A form is available online at www.guineaheritage.org/guinea-jubilee/grand-marshal. Additionally, nominations will be accepted by mail to: The Grand Marshal Committee, P.O. Box 411, Bena, Va. 23018.
To nominate a person, include the name for consideration, contact information for the nominee (phone number or address), qualifications/connection to Guinea, and the name and contact phone number of the person making the submission.
