The Virginia Manufacturing Association is taking nominations through Aug. 31 for its contest, “The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia.”

Public voting on the nominees will be held Sept. 21 through Oct. 9. After votes are tallied, winners will be announced Nov. 6 at the Virginia Manufacturers’ Gala.

The process of making nominations is free.
