Nominations being accepted for Student-Athlete Achievement Awards

The nomination period for the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame’s 2021 Student-Athlete Achievement Awards closes Friday, Oct. 22.
The awards are open to all juniors and seniors attending high school in Virginia that meet the following criteria:—Attend high school in Virginia (public or private);—Be a junior or senior during the 2021-2022 academic year;—Letter in at least one VHSL/VISAA sanctioned sport, and—Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Once all nominations are received, the Student-Athlete Achievement Awards selection committee will choose 16 finalists for the Hall of Fame’s scholarship awards. The scholarships will be awarded during a reception to be announced at a later date. Student-athletes may nominate themselves, or be nominated by a family member, coach, administrator, or mentor.
