Tolls came off the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge on Friday night, as scheduled, with the two E-ZPass-only lanes closed to thru traffic and the remaining lanes open to drivers crossing the York River into Gloucester County. Demolition of the bridge’s toll plaza will not occur until the spring.
