Saturday’s Northern Neck Orchestra’s holiday concert will feature a musical arrangement of the poem “ ’Twas the Night Before Christmas” narrated by the Rev. Dr. Tyron Williams, Senior Pastor of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Wicomico Church.

The concert of Christmas carols, classical works and popular music of the season at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater (formerly the Lancaster Middle School), 191 School Street, in Kilmarnock will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk by the orchestra’s Music Director Michael Repper at 6:45.

Tickets are $40 and may be purchased online at www.northernneckorchestra.org or at the door. Students are admitted free.

The orchestra will be hosting a holiday food drive at the concert on behalf of the Healthy Harvest Food Pantry to help it provide healthy meals to local individuals who struggle with hunger.
