NN Popcorn Bag owner to speak at lunch program for businesses

Terri Crowder, owner of Northern Neck Popcorn Bag, will be the guest speaker during next week’s Home-Based Business Pack a Lunch and Learn series.

The lecture, which is being presented by Gloucester County’s Economic Development Department, will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at the Bay Transit Center conference room, Fiddlers Green Road, Gloucester.

Crowder will discuss the growth her business has experienced since expanding her gourmet popcorn store to a second location in Gloucester Court House—and share her approach to managing growing pains. She will also share how she uses technology to track and grow her business.

Current and prospective home-based business owners are encouraged attend and bring a lunch for this lecture and networking opportunity. Light refreshments will also be provided.

Crowder, a fourth-generation entrepreneur, has developed her sales and marketing skills through a variety of endeavors. In 2016, she opened her first Northern Neck Popcorn Bag store in Kilmarnock; the Gloucester location opened in May 2018.

The Pack a Lunch and Learn series is a monthly event designed for the home-based business community in Gloucester to have an opportunity to network and learn about topics related to home-based business. Those who wish to attend should RSVP by emailing lallen@gloucesterva.info. Attendees are also welcome to send advance questions by email.
