Nicole Lynne Mishoe, age 55, of Smithfield, died on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Nicole was born on February 15, 1970 to Sharon Owen Griffith and Melvin T. Griffith Jr. Nicole worked as a cleaning lady. Nicole is survived by her husband, Christopher M. Mishoe Sr.; her children, Edmund Wayne Forrest Jr., Eric Allen Forrest, Christopher M. Mishoe Jr., and Angelica M. Mishoe. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aubree, Meribella, Abel, and Averiana; her parents, Sharon and Melvin Griffith; sisters, Andrea Simmons, Amanda Shenefield, and Natalie Griffith. The Celebration of Life service was held at the Poquoson Community Center, 49 Odd Road, Poquoson, Va. 23662, on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2 p.m. The inurnment was private.
