All post offices, courts, county offices, DMV customer service centers, and waste facilities in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed on Monday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.
Mathews Memorial Library will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the holiday, while Gloucester libraries will be closed Sunday and Monday.
Schools will continue to be on holiday through Monday, reopening Tuesday, Jan. 2.
ABC stores will close at 6 p.m. on Sunday and will be open Monday.
