LeeAnne Cherry is a new independent operator at Cutt’N Up Salon & Spa, located on Route 17, Hayes, in the center that’s anchored by Chesapeake Marine Training Institute.

Cherry said each of the shop’s stylists share the monthly rental fee. Other stylists are Gretel Smith, Catherine Shackelford and Sharon Lamb, all of Gloucester.

Cherry offers beauty services that include haircuts for men, women and children, waxing, lash extensions, pedicures and manicures, acrylic dip and gel nails, perms and hair color.

It is best to have a consultation with your stylist before any services are performed, Cherry said, so the stylist can observe firsthand the condition of your hair, for example. 

Cherry previously owned a salon in Mississippi with her mother and, more recently, worked at another Gloucester salon. She moved to the county last June.
