Gloucester County’s newest Starbucks will officially open this Friday. The newest location of the popular coffeehouse chain is 3019 George Washington Memorial Highway, adjacent to the Hayes branch of Chesapeake Bank.

Amanda Nebrotskie will serve as manager of the new Starbucks branch. Other Starbucks locations in the county include Fox Mill Centre in Gloucester and inside the Kroger grocery store across Route 17 from the new location in Hayes.

GMHS promotion

Prior to Friday’s official grand opening of Starbucks, the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society will be holding its Friends & Family Day there from 4-7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, May 16. During this promotion, the GMHS will be accepting cash donations, as well as dry dog and cat food, leashes and pet toys. In return for donations, the new Starbucks will hand out free tall beverages.
