Andy Sanborn is the new senior agent at the New York Life office in Mathews.

Sanborn is assisted by agent Jan Satterfield Marshall. Both are certified and have completed professional training offered by New York Life.

Sanborn said they are carrying on New York Life’s local presence, which began 90 years ago when agent Wilton Moore opened an office. More recently, Joe Diggs was the lead agent there for a number of years, Sanborn said, and Randy Martin followed Diggs.

Sanborn said he is a financial and insurance advisor. He offers life, long-term care and other insurance products, as well as mutual funds and annuities.

Marshall offers life and long-term insurance, as well as annuities.
