The writer was congratulating the county on its splendid school building, and mentioned one he had just visited near Hudgins. Now Mr. Editor, I do not wish to detract from anything the writer said, but I cannot help mentioning the condition of the Public Schoolhouse on Gwynns Ridge—a house that is only fit for the inhabitation of rats and snakes. Why is there no suitable provision made for a suitable schoolhouse near Gwynns Ridge? The writer has talked with two of the Board, who say there is plenty of money to repair or build a schoolhouse. I have five children all old enough to attend school, but I must say that the schoolhouse is not a fit place for a tramp to spend a night in.
