The Gloucester County School Board appointed Stephanie Vermeire of Gloucester as principal at Gloucester High School during its work session last Thursday at the T.C. Walker Education Center. 

Vermeire has been an assistant principal at GHS for the past six years. Her appointment as principal is effective Saturday. 

The board also approved the appointment of Deon Blake of Cardinal to a support services position, effective June 26. 

In appointments for the 2017-2018 school year, Jason Hamill of Hayes was named a special education teacher at GHS and Sheri Henderson of Gloucester was named a special education teacher at Bethel Elementary.
