New personnel join Mike’s Tire

Mike’s Tire and Automotive, Ordinary, recently added new personnel and new lineup of services for customers.

According to Jimmy Guy, owner of the business, the company has added three new service people, which will allow them to perform a full line of diesel work as well as transmission rebuilds and service.

John Shelton, who was the lead technician at Williamsburg Dodge for 15 years, is one of the new employees. Also, Randy Greene, who has over a decade of experience with a local dealership, has been added at the sales desk. Finally, James Kosloske was added as a diagnostic technician.

Mike’s Tire has been serving the community since 1954. Guy took over the business from longtime former owner, the late Monty Haskell following Haskell’s death in 2013. Guy began his career there in 1980 when he was 16 years old.

“We’ve grown continually since that time,” Guy said, “and we’re firmly established in the community.”
