New owners of Bethel Beach Inn cap off busy summer season

This past July saw new owners take over the Bethel Beach Inn at Onemo and the change in seasons has given Carol Manglos-Foster and David Foster time to reflect on their new venture.

The property sits on 11 acres between the Bethel Beach Nature Preserve and Onemo Post Office. The house itself boasts new furnishings added just before the July acquisition and is split between the owners’ living space upstairs, a guest suite downstairs, and a common living room, kitchen, and dining room.

As it stands, guests can rent the “Pineapple Suite,” so called for its warm color scheme and namesake fruit appearing on pillow shams and wall art. The suite has a bedroom, master bath, mudroom area, and private egress to a deck and backyard firepit.

“We had people staying with us almost every weekend,” said Manglos-Foster of her and her husband’s inaugural summer as bed and breakfast operators.
