New manager/chef named at Sweet Tooth Café

Sylvia Noland is the new kitchen manager and chef at Sweet Tooth Café and Bakery, LLC, located on Main Street. She brings 10 years’ food service experience to Sweet Tooth and is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu’s Pittsburgh campus, where she refined her kitchen skills.

“My biggest skill is making wedding cakes,” Noland said. Also, she loves making birthday and anniversary cakes and “I’m very good with cheesecakes,” having revamped recipes that were being used at Sweet Tooth.

Being a chef demands long hours, the York County resident said, but she enjoys the work. She found a niche in food service at a young age.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Noland attended Edinboro University. She previously worked at Kingsmill Resort and The Trellis in Williamsburg and at several food establishments in Pennsylvania.
