There have been a number of recent changes at the Subway shop located inside the Gloucester Walmart.

Kristy Smith of Gloucester Point, chief executive district manager for the national sandwich restaurant chain, said that store has a new management team. The new store manager is Justin C. Busch and the two new assistant managers are Amanda Jurgenson and Brent Engle. All three reside in Gloucester.

Busch has worked seven years for Subway, having most recently been assistant manager of the Subway in Mathews.

Jurgenson has worked for Subway for about four years, Busch said, while Engle is new to the chain, having most recently worked at a restaurant in Virginia Beach.

Busch said the store, and the Subway in the Walmart at Tabb, are the only ones in this region that are open 24 hours a day. He said that there’s usually good business late night between Walmart workers and customers stopping in. Busch said his store has a total staff of 13 employees.
