New library branch subject of Oct. 11 town hall meeting

Diane Rebertus, director of Gloucester County’s library, will provide information on the relocation of the Gloucester Point library branch during a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Abingdon Elementary School.

The meeting, hosted by Gloucester Point district supervisor Bobby Crewe, will begin at 7 p.m. and will include a discussion of festivities planned for the Oct. 15 grand opening of the new branch at the York River Crossing Shopping Center, Hayes.

As in previous meetings, Crewe will be joined by Gloucester Planning Department staff to provide an update on the Gloucester Point/Hayes Village Development Area Plan, according to county spokesperson Christi Lewis. Crewe will also brief the public of other initiatives currently underway such as the Page Middle School replacement process.
