New karate studio

The Zanshin Martial Arts Center opened its doors on June 1 and now plans an open house on Friday and Saturday. The center offers children, adult and family classes in traditional karate, contemporary martial arts and specialty training in personal protection and self-defense. Master martial artists and father and son team, Chuck and Josh Beadle, invite interested persons to the open house from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the center located in The Shops at Hickory Fork at 6661 Hickory Fork Road in Gloucester.
