The Gazette-Journal newsroom has welcomed Callie Laubacker as its summer intern. The Gloucester High School graduate is enrolled at the College of William and Mary, where she works on the student newspaper, The Flat Hat. Laubacker is working towards a bachelor’s degree in English, and plans to pursue law school after graduation. “I am so excited to be working on the paper and getting more involved with the community,” she said. Laubacker will focus on a number of projects, especially the Gazette-Journal’s upcoming special semiquincentennial section, which will come out the week of July 4.
