New executive director named for G-M Care Clinic

Arlene Armentor of Newport News has been named executive director of the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic. She will begin her duties Nov. 1, taking over for Dave Burns, who has been the clinic’s interim director for the past year.

Armentor, who currently is Director of Development for the Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News, said one of her major goals when taking the helm at the GMCC will be to continue to raise awareness of the clinic and its “remarkable impact on our patients.”

In her current position, she has been responsible for leadership and oversight of development activities, including marketing and special events.
