Lee Dawson, right, of Foster, has been named to the Mathews County Economic Development Authority. Dawson, who has lived in the county for more than 20 years, recently retired from Verizon Communications and WB Engineering & Consulting. A release said he has over 40 years’ experience in leading complex commercial real estate projects and building evaluations. His expertise includes directing end-to-end design and construction projects, including experience with historic properties and building code compliance.
