New director named for Tri-River ASAP

Four months after its former director was murdered at his office in Hayes, Tri-River ASAP has a new director.Eboney Scaggs of Hayes began work at the nonprofit agency on April 1. “Joining the Tri-River ASAP program is truly a privilege,” she said. “There is a strong legacy to uphold and meaningful work ahead, and I recognize the responsibility that comes with that. I look forward to collaborating with the 11 counties we serve, building new relationships, and strengthening our shared commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate this process.” Scaggs previously served as a case manager with the Hampton Roads Community Action Program in Newport News.
