New clinician joins Tidewater Physical Therapy

Rick Sieller has been hired as the newest physical therapist at the Gloucester Court House location of Tidewater Physical Therapy. Sieller, who resides in Ware Neck, is also a certified hand therapist.

According to Sieller, he has been a dedicated upper extremity clinician with a focus on acquired hand injuries and conditions throughout his career. He began his career working at Yale University and became a member of the hand, burn, trauma service at the Connecticut school.

In 1990, Sieller relocated to Virginia Beach where he established Sentara Hand Therapy Center. He left in 2012 to return to Yale to work on an aortic aneurysm software project with one of the world’s noted cardiac surgeons. Through this new Yale partnership, Sieller said he is looking to improve the medical management of patients with that complex disease.
