Several new events will be at the 2011 Gloucester County Fair, which is scheduled for Aug. 2-6 at Ark Park.
Katey Legg, recreation supervisor for the Gloucester’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, said that the fair will feature National Wrestling Alliance Fusion Professional Wrestling on Tuesday, Aug. 2, and Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
"This will include Preston Quinn and the rest of the NWA Fusion stars, at their last stop on the way to Brutal Games," Legg said.
There will also be demonstrations of racing riding lawnmowers on Tuesday and Wednesday during the fair from 6-9 p.m. Legg said drivers will be on hand to talk about their machines and this growing sport.
Finally, Legg said another new addition to this year’s fair will be free cornhole tournaments on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Registration begins each night at 6 o’clock and tournament play begins at 7. "Play cornhole and even order a custom...
