Holly L. Wojciechowski, DVM, is a new associate at Gloucester Veterinary Hospital, Ltd., located on Route 17 south of Burleigh Road.

Wojciechowski joined the local practice June 8. She specializes in exotic pets, including birds, reptiles and mammals.

One of the things Wojciechowski said she finds attractive about Gloucester Veterinary is the emphasis on general wellness checks for pets. She said pets should be checked once or twice a year, depending on the type.

In addition, Gloucester Veterinary provides a wide range of surgeries and specialized care for dogs, cats and many other small pets. This is Wojciechowski’s first full-time position. She is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Virginia Tech.
