The Middle Peninsula Bird Club visited Colonial Williamsburg’s Bassett Trace Nature Trail on May 6. The group was led on the 2.8-mile trail by Trail Guide Nancy Barnhart, a member of the Historic Rivers Master Naturalist Chapter. Participants reported hearing and seeing 46 species of birds.
