The Church of the Nazarene in Mathews and Petsworth Baptist Church, Gloucester, will each have nativity scenes for public viewing this weekend.

The Church of the Nazarene, located on Cricket Hill Road in Hudgins, will stage its annual Live Nativity from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Join Petsworth Baptist on Saturday for its Christmas drama, “Voices of the Nativity,” at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. All are welcome and admission is free.

Special services

Several churches in the area will be holding special services on Sunday.

Kingston Episcopal Parish, Mathews, will have an Advent IV service online through its Facebook page and YouTube channel. A 9 a.m. outdoor Rite II service will take place at Kingston Parish House at 370 Main Street, also on Sunday, weather permitting.

Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, located on Gloucester Main Street, will hold a special service, “Lessons and Carols,” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
