Gloucester High School senior Anthony Monahan, at left, was congratulated by GHS wrestling coach Ricky Pierce after taking seventh place at 113 pounds in the senior division of the 2015 National High School Coaches Association High School Wrestling Championships in Virginia Beach last weekend. Monahan is the first GHS senior to become a VHSL state champion and a NHSCA All American in folkstyle wrestling. Over 3,000 grapplers competed in the national event. ...
