National Honey Bee Day will be celebrated from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Ware Neck, with demonstrations and information provided by the Colonial Beekeepers Association.

The group will show how honey is extracted from the comb, as well as local honey and other products from the hive for sale, kids’ activities, honey tastings and more, a release said.

Hive openings will be demonstrated at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and talks are planned on “The Amazing Honey Bee” at 10:30 and “How to be a Beekeeper” at 12:30.
