Nathan Halstead Williamson, 82, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017. He was the son of the late Bertram H. and Myrtle Grinstead Williamson.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and also sang in the Men’s Choir. He was retired from the U.S. government and was employed by Cox Communications where he worked in customer service. He was a member of the Gloucester Literacy Council, and was retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a Sergeant.

He is survived by his sisters, Judith Kendrick and Joanne Williamson; nieces and nephews, Michael Kendrick, Mark Kendrick, Lisa Raubeson, and Timothy Abbott.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Gloucester.
