NARFE presentation

Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic Executive Director Arlene Armentor, at right, spoke Tuesday to members of Chapter 1757 of National Active and Retired Federal Employees. She provided information about the clinic, which offers community-based health care services to residents who lack health insurance, are aged 18-64, are covered by Medicaid, and live in Gloucester, Mathews, and various adjacent zip codes. Armentor is shown with chapter president Bob Howe, who hands her a NARFE mug in appreciation. Chapter 1757 meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at Olivia’s in the Village, Gloucester. The group’s next meeting is on Oct. 18, when Michelle Griffin of Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield will discuss the service benefit plans that Anthem provides. All active and retired federal employees are encouraged to attend, and visitors are welcome. For more information, contact Howe at 804-642-2659 or howebob59@gmail.com.
