NARFE presentation

Yoko Yasunaga, an international volunteer leader for Labo International Exchange Foundation, was the guest speaker at the Aug. 15 meeting of Chapter 1757 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) at Olivia’s in the Village, Gloucester. Labo International Exchange is similar to the U.S. 4-H program, allowing Japanese students to stay with U.S. host families for four weeks. Shown at the meeting are, from left, NARFE Chapter 1757 president Bob Howe, U.S. host Edie Bradbury, Yasunaga, and U.S. host Jim Bradbury. The next NARFE meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Olivia’s.
