NANCY KYLE REDD

Nancy Kyle Redd, 60, of Gloucester, passed away Nov. 10, 2014 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

Nancy was born in Maryland and had been a resident of Gloucester for a number of years. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Nancy loved her church and was a dedicated worker in the church. She enjoyed music and loved singing in the Living Christmas Tree choir. Nancy worked with the children and youth, and served on numerous committees. Known for her ease in frequent conversation with even total strangers, she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith.

Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and kind heart, will never be forgotten. She loved to cook for family and friends. Nancy loved life, her family and her friends and was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, who raised her children to be strong just like she was. We will miss you, but you will always be with us in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband David Redd; children, Bryan Redd and wife Leslie, Britnee R. Cason and husband Joe, Braedon Redd and Braea Redd; parents, Joseph and Monta Jean Kyle; sister, Debbie Hennesey; brother, Rick Kyle and wife Robin; grandchildren, Noah Redd and Elijah Cason; three nephews and one niece.
