Nancy Diggs Dicus, age 54, of Susan, Va., passed away at her home with her family by her side, on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015.

She was the owner and operator of Mary’s Beauty Shop in Mathews, Va.

She is survived by her husband, Chris D. Dicus; her daughter, Mary Kathleen “Katie” Dicus; sisters, Gina Rowe, Sharon DeLaurentis; a half-sister, Brenda Rice; aunt and uncle, Leonard and Barbara Minter; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth Dicus; special nieces, Elizabeth Frances DeLaurentis and Ashley Bain; several brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Dicus, Tim Dicus, Jerry Dicus, Ron Dicus, and Marsha White, and a host of other family members. She is also survived by a “special friend,” Audrey Zerbe.

The family received friends on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015m from 6-8:30 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Susan, with burial in St. Paul Annex.
