The Gloucester, Mathews, King and Queen and Middlesex branches of the NAACP will a town hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews, on the three ballot initiatives to amend the Virginia Constitution. Amendments concerning Reproductive Freedom, Marriage Equality, and Voting Rights Restoration will be on the ballot in the Nov. 3 election. At the town hall, advocates working to pass all three amendments will review the amendments will do and and answer questions from the audience. The event will be moderated by Gloucester NAACP president Pamela Griffin-Armstead.
